Hard to believe this album is over 10 years old, it still shits all over most metalcore bands. [9]

"Hard to believe this album is over 10 years old, it still shits all over most metalcore bands." Because all the Metalcore bands started trying to emulate this album after it was released and they all sucked at it. So Poison the Well had to keep changing their sound. This, The Tropic Rot and You Come Before You are all masterpieces. Versions and Tear from the Red are both great, but less so.

They STILL have potential. And I hope they will be back with another great record sooner or later.

When Poison the Well showed some potential. Not Within Arms Length is the best one here.

Has any hardcore band made a better record than Opposite of December? Nah. Makes me proud to be from South Florida.
