I remember sitting on my couch,passing around a joint,drinking a glass of wine,and may I add, I did NOT listen to country music. There was no such thing as “country rock’.This is a term coined by country music fans to explain the hard rythms and lead guitar used in country today.I guess the term”rock country’ would insult them.Well grow up and face reality. Country music disapeared when Willie Nelson grew his hair and went mainstream.I don’t mind you claiming the Eagles as your roots,but if vyou went to an Eagles concert in the 70s and called them country rock you better start towards the door. The band would not like the insult.Rock on all you rock country fans and don’t forget your roots.
