Some of the tracks sound lyrically half-finished, as if they were just draft versions but Plies ran out of studio time. There are quite a few points where he loses touch with the beat and tries to squeeze too much into a line, e.g. in "On My Dick" he's crams "I gotta make something happen" into the hook when really that section of the beat only has space for "I gotta make IT happen" or something of equal or shorter length. Since this is a pretty basic mistake, I can only assume that the production either ran short on time or money. Looks like they blew all the cash and time on "Shawty" and "Hypnotized", which, while killer singles pretty much starved the rest of the album in terms of effort.
