Why does Alcyone have so much more plays than the other tracks? Was it released as a single or on a compilation? If not, I'm surprised to see people pick one IFO track as such a standout, as I find the album's quality consistently high.

Fucking amazing project. Conceptually and aurally it's close to perfection. Though bear in mind, everything post-Family Of Light, pretty much sucks horseshit(In comparison) and doesn't have anything to do with the actual 90's Pleiadians, aside from the 2 members who started making full-on that is. Otherwise there is no resemblance. Pleiadians IS thickly layered, massively detailed, extraterrestrial music from outer space - not cheesy full-on.
To Atlas and Pleione were born seven daughters - the Pleiades whose stars are these: queenly Maia, and lovely Taygete, and amber-faced Elektre, and Alkyone, and bright Asterope, and Kelaino, and Merope.
Wow I must say, in my fascinated present state, what extreme structure and layered melodies the Pleiadians did create in "I.F.O.". The name also fits so well, this music is indeed expressing a unique extraterrestrial sound through their non-cheesy melodies but also minimal percussion, because more is not needed to create that amazing flow else than just all the melody they have got. Pure space music. But I hear some people complaining about the eq? Can't really agree, this is the way 604 should sound. If you need bass...well you've got plenty in much of todays crappy techtrance...
