Fort Worth TX, United States

UPDATE: September 2009 PlayRadioPlay! announced that the band’s name would be changed to Analog Rebellion.

PlayRadioPlay! is the project of 20 year old Dan Hunter from Fort Worth, Texas.

When he first began touring, most shows consisted of just him and his laptop. Now, Dan has a full band and has toured with the likes of Yellowcard, The Spill Canvas & Portugal. The Man to name a few.

His first release, ‘The Frequency’ EP came out on the 24th of March, 2007 and includes remastered versions of several of his well known songs as well as a cover of The Killers hit, “Mr Brightside”.

Dan’s first full-length album was released on March 18th, 2008 and is called, ‘Texas’.

In September 2009, Hunter changed the name to Analog Rebellion, stating in his blog that “I have come to the point where I no longer feel that the name PlayRadioPlay! represents the music I create”.

I remember back when The Frequency EP came out in 2007, and I scoured Limewire (remember that?) for hours trying to find all of your demos. I hope that you start making some new music soon, or tour, or have a new release, or something.. We miss you Dan, and your music has helped us all so much, at least I know that it's helped me.

I don't know if you would ever go back to visit this page, a year or two after you decided to move on with your life & your music career, buuut I would just like to let you know, Daniel Hunter, your music helped me greatly during the worst year of my life--my freshman year of high-school (2009 - 2010), I was in an atrocious place emotionally, and "More Of The Worst", "I Am A Pirate, You Are A Princess" + the songs from Lydia's first two albums were the soundtrack that helped me cope with all what was happening. I would just like to say: Thank-you. I will be a high-school junior a week from today. Looking back, your music is what had saved me. Your creations are absolutely beautiful, Analog Rebellion or PRP!, and have inspired many. Never give up on music, you really know how to speak to people through it. You may be surprised whom all uses your music to heal themselves from their own realities. <3
