So is calling this rock completely accurate, or can this also be an off-branch of power metal?

@Josusexyman: I always have a good laugh when someone makes a silly sweeping generalisation that doesn't even apply to their intended target. I'm not French - I'm a Brit with a degree in French and Russian.

Place Vendome: A band that proves that power metal can sound like a pop rock band if they want to. Great, great band. This song owns every emo / pop-rock song I've ever heard.

They can't pronounce their own title properly (for goodness' sake, if you're going to title a band and song after a place in France, at least learn how the French pronounce it), but the guitars in this are jolly good, so on the whole I like it.
