Giuseppe "Pino" Placentile (born December 13th, 1977) was a Canadian musician best known for his song Wooden Girl. Pino had met Ethan Kath in high school, playing in multiple hardcore punk bands before forming an acoustic duo inspired by the likes of Neil Young and Leonard Cohen. Together, they spent multiple years writing and recording folk songs. Placentile suddenly passed on June 13th, 2003 due to a brain aneurysm.
