The memories of a man in his old age
Are the deeds of a man in his prime
You shuffle in the gloom of a sickroom
And talk to yourself as you die

Bought this album on cassette in Edinburgh when I was 16. Love it! Felt like I'd mined some rare gem. That cassette died a few weeks ago so I'm currently listening to a vinyl copy I got off eBay. Sounds even more amazing!

Free Four was written by Roger Waters and is his first direct reference to the wartime death of his father.

Best period of Floyd. I love their making-psych-soundtracks-for-movies period and just tripping around. They're awesome.
