Pink Floyd

The Piper at the Gates of Dawn

Pink Floyd's first album, originally released in 1967. It was an incredibly influential album on the psychedelic rock scene. The lyrics talk about space, scarecrows, gnomes, bicycles and fairy-tales along with psychedelic instrumental passages.

  • With loVe I share this..."Compassion in equal measure to intolerance puts you within the eye of the storm, your actions determine your direction. Will it be the clean or dirty side?"... IMHO...One can never tell...This music inspires me...The ride excites me...ツ
  • This is definitely one of the best things they ever did, but I wouldn't go that far. All the other pre-1970 Pink Floyd albums are really good but don't match up to this one or most of the 70s Pink Floyd albums in my estimation. Not even close.
  • Pre-1970 Pink Floyd is the best Pink Floyd.
  • 1969 > 1973 ... and this is the best PF album ever
  • @sonicluigi1 One of the best years in the history of music, most definitely. I'd also nominate 1973 (Quadrophenia, Dark Side of the Moon, Future Days, Houses of the Holy, Aladdin Sane, Tubular Bells, Tres Hombres, Innervisions, A Passion Play, The Wild The Innocent & The E-Street Shuffle, Faust IV... the list goes on and on). Oh, and his album rules.
  • J'ai la version de 1994 ^_^
  • rating 8.5/10
  • The first album I've bought, very proudly.
  • 1967 was truly an epic year for music, wasn't it?
