This is an album that takes a while to set in, much like any complex work of art. After listening to it many times, you finally realize it's one of, if not the, greatest album of all time. [2]

The best album of all time [2]. If you like hidden sounds, meanings and stuff, this album is for you! @nathanshaw: this album is about madness (in the sense of "getting lunatic"). The dark side of the moon was at that time an allusion to getting lunatic, and this album is all about things that make people lunatics: money (fame), the passage of time, war and death. But this was too much spoiler for one single comment! It is a lot more fun to go read the lyrics and the history of the album recording and find the meanings for yourself!
