The Pink Fairies were a British rock music group active in the London underground scene of the early 1970s . They promoted free music and anarchy and often performed impromptu gigs and other agitprop stunts. The band led by Paul Rudolph on blues guitar and two drummers: Twink, and Russ Hunter; it went through many different line-ups of band members over the years.

  • strange really coz they were all about what the punk rock scene generated but never got any feed back from it .a band that never got the acclaim they should have.and yet bands like the stooges,mc5 are given the kudos and were'nt anywhere near the anarchy of the fairies.still somebody got them to stay still long enough to give us three good studio albums

  • i bought never never land when it came out.a gatefold sleeve in a 12" printed plastic wallet with a paper sleeve printed in blue ink.second pressings were just a single sleeve.kings pf oblivion had a tri-fold cardboard poster of the band,so obviously the label thought they were worth the effort,why werent they bigger? it was all our fault! why didnt we get behind them more than we did? ya dont know what ya got til its gone....
