  • in the early 90's.. Shawn Smith was one of the door guys at the club Rckcndy in Seattle and a close friend of mine and the owners of the club Alex and Tommy and one night he gave me one of his tapes that he had put together of just him singing with his keyboard synthesizer and I LOVED it. Me and my boyfriend played it all the time while driving. I love his voice. The tape reminded me of Prince actually which is pretty different then the sound of his band Brad which they formed later. I don't know what he's up to now but I hope he's still making his awesome music. He's amazing talent and a super sweet down to earth guy.
