Phobophobe's music consists of an indie/prog-rock style dotted with sensuality, using upbeat pop sounds, overdriven synthesizers, shy vocals, feedback swells, and polyrhythmic delay loops.
From start to finish, their debut album "The Race" takes its listeners on a journey from sweet serenity to strange complexity and back again. Similar to their 3-year history of self-released singles, this full-length album was written and self-produced entirely in the band's Georgetown studio with mastering done by Kurt Bloch.
