To quote John Mellencamp, life goes on well after the thrill of living is gone.

Someday I might find myself looking in your eyes...but for now, we'll go on living separate lives...

People speak of life being this way or that way. But life is only something that goes on even when we think it should not. People hurt themselves far worse than they realize. Worse than they hurt others.

I appreciate this song more as I get a little older. I found it a little too maudlin for my tastes when it first came out. Funny because I loved Against All Odds. Now I find this stunning~
