Biography

Pevin Kinel is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist born in Normandy (France).
In 2001, whilst living in Belgium, he self-released a Demo CD, followed a couple of years later, this time in Jersey (CI), by “Tekel Cottage”. Both were recorded on a four-track tape recorder. In 2005, after moving to London, he produced “Surrender”, a 5 track EP now available for free download. “Sheds” came out at the end of 2009 and consists of 11 songs recorded over the previous three years.
Pevin Kinel recently released a 7 track free digital recording titled “Of Week Constitution” which was produced in a month and recorded in a week.
His style varies greatly from one track to the next, making him hard to pigeon-hole. To add insult to injury, his live shows are entirely improvised!
Pevin Kinel played bass and co-wrote songs with Velofax in 2007/08.
