“Another difficult band to categorise, twangy pulp-fiction guitars, alternative country melodies, a rockabilly rhythm section and gospel-like harmonies - all of this topped off with Peter Murphy’s hugely impressive lead vocals that veer between The The’s Matt Johnson and Morrissey.”
- John Peel Day

Peter Murphy’s Carver Combo hail from Sweden. They’ve been making music together since playing their first gig in 1999.

Their first album, “One Sin Between Me and the Lord”, was released in 2005. Their sophomore album, “Let the Fire In”, is scheduled to be released on December 9 by GraveWax Records. A tour of Europe is being planned for 2012 in support of the new album.
