Biography
Hook was a co-founder of Joy Division along with Bernard Sumner in the mid-70’s. Together, they recruited vocalist Ian Curtis and drummer Stephen Morris to complete the quartet. The band reformed as New Order following Curtis’ suicide.
In May 2007, Peter Hook announced that he and singer Bernard Sumner were no longer working together, which effectively spelled the end for New Order.
Hook is currently working on a new band project called Freebass.

American Joy Division and New Order fans rejoice! I got my hands on an advanced copy of Peter Hook's Unknown Pleasures and reviewed it for Rock Cellar Magazine. The review and book will surprise you.
