    Interesting comments about this cover. In fact it`s my favourite song on "Scratch my back"; very intense and a kind of strange. I did not know the original and when I heard it I was really disapointed about it. Nevertheless there are some vocal-lines of PG that I don`t like...

    I still find this version superb. The song is called Fade Out after all, so it makes some sense that it has this "dying breath" feeling.

    I'm a long time Peter Gabriel fan but even I am questioning the logic for Street Spirit. He's hit many right notes and created some wonderful personal interpretations on Scratch My Back but I don't think this should have featured on it.
