Biography

Peter G. Brown is an ambient-acoustic musician and multi-instrumentalist currently living in Winston-Salem, NC. His work explores the convergence of the old-time rural music of Appalachia with haunting soundscapes & field recordings to create an ensemble of ancestral memory, shared tradition and contemplative solitude.

2011 saw his first release, Ten Years Of Dust on Slo.Bor Media, garnering praise from several ambient music critics and stations, notably Secret Music, Stillstream, and Star’s End Radio. Star’s End also featured the album in their list of “Best of 2011” in December.

Brown’s newest EP release, “Mouth of the River” was released June 2012.
