Biography

Peter Andrew Furler was born in South Australia on September 8, 1966. He has five siblings, named Debbie, Vicki, Mark, Julie, and David. He frequently drove them crazy by banging on anything he could find, such as the back seat of the car or his lap. As a teenager, he was able to listen to the radio, hear the first chord of a song, and instantly know which song it was.

Peter became a Christian at the age of 17. In 1986, he founded the band Newsboys with George Perdik.

thanks and praise God for your birth, salvation, and Newsboys....be on FIRE for God in Jesus name AMEN......saved at 12 one of five sisters. Peter you and your group help me get to a HIGH level of "righteous" Praise!!! thanks again for another avenue to witness and share the TRUTH that sets us FREEE....married over thirty years now and we are both strong in the FAITH... and pray to get even stronger Christ is the author of my FAITH and the Journey is like non-other...serving the Lord with gladness He said to be cheerful and His strength is our JOY...goodness...praying for you all....hope to see you all in another concert soon....maybe in florida again...look forward to meeting you all in Heaven for sure!...hearditatthegrapevine@hotmail.com
