Big Parade were a loose aggregation of musicians backing Utah-based acoustic folk artist Peter Breinholt. Membership shifted constantly over the course of the band's three studio albums, with bassist Mike Ensign being the only constant.
Breinholt stopped using the Big Parade name following the 2004 release of Live Summer; all further recordings were released under Breinholt's name only.
