Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth is a rap group from the 1990s. Hailing from "Money Earnin'" Mount Vernon, New York, this DJ-MC duo first made noise in the rap world on the 1991 EP, All Souled Out. It sold moderately well enough to justify Elektra Records clearing the way for 1992's Mecca & the Soul Brother LP.
InI is hip hop superproducer Pete Rock's group along with Rob-O, and Pete's brother Grap Luva. InI's sole album Center of Attention was reportedly recorded in mid-90's, but got lost for several years and wasn't released until 2003. Some sources mention also Rass as a member, but as far as is known, he wasn't present when the album was recorded.

Smif-n-Wessun (aka Cocoa Brovaz) is a hip hop duo consisting of members Tek and Steele. Smif-n-Wessun comprise one-fourth of the Brownsville, Brooklyn supergroup Boot Camp Clik, with Buckshot, Heltah Skeltah and O.G.C. Both members are known for their Jamaican Patois during their raps, which was more evident during the earlier stages of their career.

He is best known for his early career with Will Smith as DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince. DJ Jazzy Jeff graduated from John Bartram High School in Philadelphia where he is enshrined in the school's "Wall of Fame".
