Biography

Pete Lesperance is a songwriter/producer. He is the guitarist in the Canadian melodic rock band Harem Scarem. Lesperance was born October 13, 1968 in Scarborough, Ontario. Lesperance was a guitarist in the Oshawa metal band “Minotaur” before forming Harem Scarem with Blind Vengeance vocalist Harry Hess in 1988. Lesperance’s solo album, “Down In It”, was released in 2004. Lesperance also technically brought Mike Turner (ex-Our Lady Peace member) back into the music scene, even though Turner was producing over at the Pocket. Together they put together the band Fair Ground.

Solid songwriting with compelling vocals that draw you into delicate state of mind. From the metal days in Minotaur, to the guitar-driven frenzy of Harem Scarem, to the lighter rock melodies of his solo efforts, Pete Lesperance will stop at nothing to deliver what seems to be the most incredible tunes of the 21st century.
