New CD might be called "Lights On" but it's the audio equivalent of a plush candlelit room :) Just listened to it on a bright sunny SF afternoon and was immediately & thoroughly transported :) 7 years and a seamless transition. Nice job ;)

Pete Belasco - dude, where are you? How many times do I have to tickle you on your last.fm page and myspace page. Need more tunes. PLEASE. You know you are loved! I'm tired of crying salty tears for you to reemerge. I adore your voice! Please don't keep me *hangin* forever. Waah! xoxo

I heard Pete Belasco on BetJ before I saw him. His sound was so reminiscent of Maxwell and Marvin's whisper sweet vocal stylings, that I had to turn around to face the television to see who was singing. Needless to say, it was Pete Belasco, singing, Hurry, Hurry. Lush, sensual, intimate and layered with musical texture, Belasco's, Deeper, is more than worth the listen & well worth the wait.

Deeper was my first introduction to Pete Belasco, and I fell in love his vibe. He reminds me almost of the male version of Sade. He is definitely one of my favorites!

One very talented musician, Pete Belasco is more into the soft-pop area of jazz. But his Get it together album is one that's still spinning in my player.
