I agree with you @immolation The early 90's were the days. The big 4 of progressive death metal ruled the world: Death, Cynic, Atheist and Pestilence. They were at their peak.

not all,or most of them,of course,but there is plenty of shit in 2000's death metal,i think it was much better in the beginning and middle of 90s. and i am not exclusively an old school metal fan,but,certainly,music was better then.
