Perry (Korean: 페리, born Perry Thomas Borja, 1971.12.11) is a solo artist and producer under YG Entertainment.
Born in Modesto, California, Perry was a founding member of the coalition of musicians and entertainers known as MF Family, or Majah Flavah Family, later known as YG Family. From the very beginning, Perry has been the go-to guy & inhouse producer for everyone in YG, crafting hits for Jinusean, Yang Goon, and 1TYM before releasing his own solo LP ‘The Storm’ in 2001. He would later go on to produce tracks for nearly every new artist to join YG including Se7en & Lexy.
The single ‘Get Ready’ from the album ‘By Storm’ was featured on the Korean release of the movie Rush Hour 2.
Perry is of Chamorro Guamese descent.
