This is not the version of Heart of Darkness that was on Terminal Tower when it was released on vinyl circa 1987/86, and it's not the version on the CD, either. Terminal Tower is a studio album. WTH? This is closer to the live version on The Shape of Things. Bless David Thomas and his "special vocal juice"!

I like this.......with the ambience......it's like listening to the band on the other side of the garage door where they're rehearsing. Bit like early Fall. Very avant-garde. WAKE UP SUCKERS!!

It's too bad the only version you guys could find was recorded on the world's oldest tape recorder inside a metal trashcan kicked around the club while Pere Ubu played the song.
