This used to be one of my favourite Norgard works, but I haven't been listening to it lately. The better you understand the infinity series technique used in the piece, the more melodic detail you notice, until the whole thing seems too heavenly and glorious for a mere mortal to bear. No wonder shortly after writing this, Norgard gave up his hierarchical music and started taking inspiration from the lonely schizophrenic Adolf Wölfli.
