National Public Radio programs have used this song to introduce or close a segment on telecommunications.

It was used in the bank robbery scene in the 1986 movie "Malcom", a comedy from Australia that won several awards including some for the soundtrack.

It is also the music played over the end credits of Oliver Stone's 1988 film "Talk Radio", based on the play of the same name, written in 1987 by Eric Bogosian. The film also stars Eric Bogosian.
