1) Rock band came from Munich and made three albums on the Kuckuk label plus 2 another that never got released until recently. Hennes Herring on KB (mainly Hammond organ), Remi Dreschler on guitars, Moran Neumuller on vocals and winds, Klaus Spöri and Stefan Wisheu on drums and bass respectively made a tight unit although they were prone to a lot of improvisation moments also.
Formed in Germany in 1970 and existed until 1989, Grobschnitt (which translates to "Rough Cut" in English) were a German rock band. Their styles varied throughout their existence, from progressive rock to pop to NDW. The band was created by Eroc (percussion), Willi Wildschwein (guitars & vocals), and Lupo (guitar).
Polvo is an influential math rock band of the 1990s from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA. The band was fronted by guitarists/vocalists Ash Bowie and Dave Brylawski. Eddie Watkins played drums, and Steve Popson played bass guitar. The band reformed in 2008 with Brian Quast assuming drum duties.
Originally the brainchild of songwriters Dave Callahan and Margaret Fiedler, Moonshake supported PJ Harvey in the UK on many occasions in 1992-3. They had their US introduction with the release of Eva Luna on the Matador label. Fiedler departed shortly after the release of the 1994 EP, Big Good Angel (also released on Too Pure/Matador) to form Laika.
