Peggy Lipton is the actor best known for starring in The Mod Squad television show from 1968 to 1973. She is less well known for her short recording career. She released three singles and one full length album between 1968 and 1970. The album, 1968’s Peggy Lipton , was recorded under the auspices of her then boyfriend, music producer Lou Adler. It has never been officially released on CD. In her 2005 memoir Breathing Out, Lipton was a harsh critic of her work, admitting that she sang the entire album off key.
