From,
Bronx, NEW YORK,
USA.
Hailing from Bronx right around the corner from “The Fever”, Pebblee-Poo would originally be down with Kool Herc and the Herculoids. The Herculoids at that time consisted of La-Brew, JC, and Clark Kent (not THAT Clark Kent) along with Sondra Dee and Sweet & Sour. Then in 1980, she joined as the only female member in the group The Masterdon Committee a.k.a. Master Don & the Death Committee, Don just happened to be her brother. They would release a NY hit “Funkbox Party” in ‘83 on Enjoy Records.
Pebblee-Poo then recorded solo to become noted as “”the first female MC Soloist”“. She recorded her hit track on Profile Records titled “A Fly Guy” in 1985, as a answer record to The Boogie Boys track “”A Fly Girl”“.
She was signed to Profile records from 1981 till 1987.
