I noticed the Devo Gut Feeling on the first listen, and I'm sure it's a homage of sorts, Devo were a hugely influential band, but I wouldn't say it's any more than that. You could hardly call it a rip off in the context of the rest of both of those songs

Ok, I have listened. Parts of the verse (I got some if you need it) is very similar to the Devo song. The chorus takes the song to another level that the Devo song lacks. Jeff Ament might have heard "Gut feeling" a few times but calling it stealing is going too far.
