This tracklist is out of order.

And "Our Singer" reminds me a ton of "Hip Priest".

@RussellChap It doesn't really sound much like either group. "Fame Throwa" sounds a lot like The Fall and "Conduit for Sale" does a little bit too, but that's about it. The Fall was certainly a big influence on the band, but being influenced by someone else doesn't mean you're "ripping them off."

They were pretty consistently great with their LPs, but this one is right up there with their very best. It gets points for being the last Pavement recording that sounds like they were having fun, which translates to an incredibly loose and shambolic vibe that nonetheless results in some of the best melodies you'll hear anywhere.

Vivid memories of the otherwise mundane day I first popped this tape in. Special album.

the closest any band will get to sounding as awesome as the Pixies.

I put this on whenever I forget why Pavement's one of my all-time favorite bands.
