I think she sounds a lot like k.d. lang (in general, but in this song specifically).

Awesome song! First heard it at one episode of The Simpsons, when Apu sang this song.^^

I had a weird LOST-ish dream involving this song. I own this album on cassette somewhere, and I pretty much played this song, Me, and I Don't Want To Wait on repeat in like '97.

Anyone who dislikes this song obviously wasn't around in the 90's and I feel sorry for them.

@thatdevilsblue - i agree wholeheartedly. This is a beautiful song, the vocals are perfect. People seem to deny beauty when it isn't modern and cool.

it's ashame to think that, the majority of people who hate this song and think it's ridiculous probably listen to Lady Gaga, Kesha, LMFAO, ect and think they all are fucking awesome, when really they wouldn't know good music if it bit them in the ass...THIS right here is good music...pop music had much more variety and substance back in the day, pop music today has none of that whatsoever!

Regardless of what popular culture might say, I actually like this song. But the lyrics and their undertone almost make me sick.

Wow, this used to get played ALL the time on the radio back in the day... I never hear it anymore, somehow it just randomly popped in my head... I love it when that happens!
