To celebrate the 20th anniversary of "Harbinger" Paula Cole does a track by track interview of the album. 2 hour long podcast. Its epic! Check it. http://podsnsods.podomatic.com/entry/2014-11-02T16_39_22-08_00

Very grey toned and different from her hit album "This Fire." I love this CD so much and I turn to it a lot in my life when needing reflection or something to relate to. In her debut she delivers incredibly heart-felt lyrics, music and of course beautiful vocals. A must for any Paula fan.

It took me long enough to get this album, but wow, tracks 1, 2 + 11, especially. It was worth the unnecessary wait and got me back into her.

Folks are saying last.fm messed up but I don't see it. I'm not sure if Metric_Love has this release - the song to which he/she refers is on "This Fire", her second release. Harbinger was her debut and does not contain the track. I love this album and got hooked on it after seeing her open for Sarah McLachlan at Radio City Music Hall (pre-Lilith days). She was virtually unheard of at the time but was getting a little airplay.

I always wanna call This Fire and Amen my favorite albums but how can you leave out Harbinger? This album's really close to perfection too. Paula writes crazy/brilliant stuff, it's amazing really.
