Such a great album. [2] one of her best! nevermind the 80's production. for an album produced in 1987/88 it has aged remarkably well.

I have a bit of a problem with that statement, as, to me, if it weren't for some particularly strong material on here, this album was close to ruined by the production. The predominace of synthesiser throughout is a problem. Surely best produced means that which improves or accentuates the music, sonically, to it's greatest strengths.

Speaking strictly sonically, this, Easter and Wave are the best-produced Patti Smith albums.

Can't believe so few people listened to this. Such a great album.
