    Yeah, the long middle section that Metheny always does in his songs sounds fully logical here. That -- when paired with a chorus line that makes me want to sing more than any other song -- makes this... well, what it is, given all of the astounding above.

    One of the best PM tunes, and one of my favorite PM solos! The latter still blows me away after twenty years, and it's one that should be studied by young players. How it evolves melodically, builds, and hangs together is very impressive. His technical mastery is evident, and it makes such a magnificent statement possible.
