“Part of Speech” — a band of young musicians from Russia. They address to there fundamentals — the folk songs and rituals to create the new modern music. The average age of the participants is about 22, but they are showing good promise. For more than 10 years they have studied the culture and traditions of the country they live in. Within the short 2 years period since the group was created they have moved from simple experiments with folk songs and electronic noise music to forming the style of their own that combines electronic sound with live energy of rock and wonderful deepness of Russian authentic folk songs. In summer 2007 “Parts of Speech” have recorded their first studio album “Flies’ Funeral” and it marks for them the opening of full scale music career.
