Staying true to her Welsh roots, with Wales dubbed as “the land of song,” the Pittsburgh native started singing at a young age. She went on to study musical theater at Point Park College. After graduation and working in King’s Island theme park outside Cincinnati, the once soft soprano explored her voice, transitioning into a powerhouse belter. Hungry for full artistic control over her own music, Adams expanded her skills as a musician, learning to play guitar and piano. She soon moved to New York to open the curtain on her solo career, leaving her musical theater performance days in the rearview.
