One Second is the sixth album by Paradise Lost, released in 1997. Following Draconian Times, the album reflected the group's first complete departure from in favour of a more direction. It's Paradise Lost's first album recorded on digital format.

  • These melodies arn't doing it for me. I love everything before this album.
  • Some people say, that "One Second" is boring. Yea, it doesn't sound heavy. But, anyway, this album is melodious and beautiful. It's really gothic! And it has some great tracks (like "Lydia").
  • The turning point on Paradise Lost's discography, is funny that even when the band have keep the core 4 member since forever they have experimented so much with thier music, but that's why Paradise Lost is a great band.
