Paraclude is described as “Genre-irrelevant experimental technoid rhythms from the southwestern desert wastes.” by Hard-Electronic pioneer Endif and is a fitting title for the music made by sole member Jeremiah McClain. Paraclude started in 2002 as the beginnings of computer-based composition and recording were just starting to evolve in utility. Working for years with discrete hardware tools, Jeremiah began to experiment with new ideas brought about by the perceived limitless nature of working solely in the computer domain. The first, and so far only, released material came in the form of The Loss of Positive Control on Backwards Records. After a number of successful shows, Paraclude went into hibernation. It’s creator caught up in the mundane minutia of everyday human existence. In 2009, Paraclude has resurfaced and started work on a new album title The Glass Tones of Mars.
