80’s New Wave/Synthpop band formed in Birmingham in 1981.

The band comprised
Michael Dorian - Singer, guitar
Nicholas Eugovni - Keyboards.
David Manray - Bass, backing vocals.
Glyn Ricard - Drums.

Michael Dorian was credited as the bands songwriter although the final recorded versions owed much to the musical input and arrangements of Nick Eugovni the keyboard player.

In around 1982 the band appointed former “Beat” manager John Mostyn as their manager and they began playing around the West Midlands music scene for some months, during which time they gathered a significant local fan base. However, after several false starts they failed to secure a recording deal.
They then made the unusual step for the time of refusing to continue to play live, but instead concentrated solely on studio work.

The results of this paid off and in March 1983 they secured a major publishing deal with Virgin Music . Virgin paid for the band to start recording with producer Zeus B Held and early versions of “Stop” and “Pictures of Love” were recorded at Richard Branson’s “The Barge” recording studios in Little Venice, London. These tracks were later mixed in Paris, France. These recordings led to several offers from major record companies and finally after a lively “auction”, the band signed to MCA records in July ‘83 for what was probably the biggest money deal of that year.
