Established in the year 2000 by Peter Andersson (of raison d’être fame), longing for the sound of early Brighter Death Now and alike. The Panzar music is boiling, grunting and slow with deep noise sounds accompanied by heavy percussion.
Panzar is really Peter Andersson at his darkest and sickest. Slow churning death industrial with sick topics. It is both calm and extremely heavy. It takes the listener like the wind through a latticework of thick, molten white noise, upon a clanking percussion, marching of into death, steers a panzer tank into oblivion. It is restrained, contained, insistent, deceptively sinister, the rumble of the tank crushing everything in its path.
The Panzar project closed in 2006.
