Cover of Person Pitch

From Person Pitch and 1 other release

I like the term psychedelic folk here, and a throwback to happy-go-lucky times w/Simon & Garfunkel. It gives the feel of music floating and glistening all around a person. A tune that can stay w/you and possibly haunt your psyche.

Hey man, what's your problem?
Don't you know that I don't belong to you
It's hard and hard enough to keep it up
When everything is so new

This is absolutely the most epic song, in the literal sense of the term, I have ever heard.

I can never say enough about this song. Six years and it still puts me in a state of delirium [2] is a damn good start though. I find it so boggling that a song composed primarily of two samples and a little riff could be so dense. Noah Lennox's dub influences are so incredibly apparent here. Those samples are constantly evolving so subtly that everytime I listen it's like i hear something new. The dense layer of sound here is overwhelming and the little noises everywhere-- the whistles, crying, that deep voice sputtering "tonight's the night I'm going to ask her," all just build tension to that final miraculous explosion where his voice is multiplied by 100 and it feels like a chorus of Panda Bears is launching you into the eternal bliss. "I do love you and I want to hold onto you for always"
