Paint It Black is a melodic hardcore band currently based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Formed in 2002 shortly after punk rock veteran Dan Yemin suffered a stroke, the band’s music is short and brutal, but with melodic overtones heavily reminiscent of Jawbreaker and Dan’s previous acts, Lifetime and Kid Dynamite.
