The French part has grown on me, definitely. This song is still the best on the album. [2]

I don't mind the French part at all, but I wonder why they didn't have Leo sing it? I mean, he speaks the language natively... it's in his range... Anyways. The song doesn't really suffer for it.

The French part is fucking beautiful if you learn the lyrics. Although, I came into it loving French, so, if you hate French (or Daniel's odd French accent) I can understand. Seriously, though, the lyrics are gorgeous. It can't be said enough.

This whole song is one of the single most innovative and interesting things PoS has ever done. I do believe even the most skeptical fans will call this a favorite in the coming years.

@killerose I was the exact same way with this song. I went into it hearing all this hype at what an amazing song it was, and the first listen just threw me off. I understand it for what it is now though, amaaaaaaaazing.

The part at 4 minutes reminds me of Tom Waits.

This song is good, but the french part is kinda lame and way too long.

Does anyone else not really dig this song? All the praise has made me feel like I'm the only one who wants to like it more than he does.

To the French: Is this part as embarrassing as all the wrong Latin on BE? ;)

"We were given life. I am the sea is why I say: To all my brothers. To all my friends. I give you misery. I give you life. You see everything in me. You see a god. I see myself in you. In each location. I give you this cross. I give you this flower. I give you this cross. I give you this flower. We share this sense of powerlessness. Girls and boys still defenseless. Silently we go. Silently we go. It gives us the misery. We were given life. It gives us the misery. We were given life. We were given life. We were given life."
