Fireflies raises a whole range of emotion in me whenever I listen to it, while the Tip has a perfect build-up, climax and resolution, despite Adam's boring vocal and awkward lyrics at the very beginning.
His other electronic tracks are also nice but most of them are similar to one another, unlike these two.
You see, To The Sky is a nice track but it resembles Tip a lot. Peppermint Winter could have easily cracked this list, but his line "It's keeping me wAAARRRRMMM" kills the WHOLE SONG.
Among his less-electronic tracks, I really like the Saltwater Room (both versions) since it is beautifully composed with a memorable and simple acoustic guitar rhythm in the background. The Bird and the Worm is fun to dance to and seems fitting for a small group performance in a local cafe.
Vanilla Twilight is poignant yet beautifully carried out, but it lacks the exhilaration in Fireflies and Tips. …
