Biography
”Owl Challenger” (Harry Frederick Robert Tucker IV, born November 7 1990) is a experimental electronic and downtempo musician/artist currently based in Keyport, new jersey. He began performing as Owl Challenger in February of 2009.
A multi instrumentalist, Tucker learned to play the keyboard and guitar at a young age, as well as learning percussion in his developing years. He began producing electronic music in 2005, and was very profoundly influenced by the glitches and mangled beats in idm. After taking a long interest in breakcore and other similar genres, Tucker began to express great interest in half-time beats, and dubstep.
His musical style is minimal, yet psychedelic and complex; a combination of spacey shoegaze and dub, meshed together on a subatomic level by a watery, rippling wave of bass.
