(2) Overlap aka Carlo Cerati, an Italian guy who has spent his adolescence listening to punk rock and rock and roll music. In 1997, after a holiday in France, he decided to buy the Daft Punk album called ‘Homework’. It represented a ‘revolution 909’ for his musical formation. The obsessive rhythms, the massive bass and the razor blade synths will lead him to join a hard techno local live set from 1999 to 2001.
Then he met Davide Meinero, a guy influenced from prog rock and jazz music, while they were both attending an English literature course. This joint venture produced some tracks that appear in the ‘Differance EP’. The recipe is simple: from Electro House to Electro Techno, all flavoured with a genuine Italo Disco dance floor killer attitude.
